More than 2,000 visitors had the opportunity to learn about the work and activities of the National Transparency Authority and to take part in the two events organized by the Authority as part of the 90th Thessaloniki International Fair, from 5 to 13 September 2026.
The National Transparency Authority took part in this year’s TIF in Hall 12, as part of the Ministry of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence’s exhibition, highlighting the role of digital innovation and modern digital tools in enhancing transparency and preventing and combating corruption.
Under the central message ‘Digital innovation in the service of transparency – Towards a more open, more efficient and more trustworthy public administration’, visitors had the opportunity to learn about the Authority’s work through two interactive activities:
- Digital Escape Room (throughout the duration of TIF): By following digital footprints, gathering useful evidence, and solving puzzles, participants were challenged to investigate a simulated corruption case within a set time limit.
- Interactive Knowledge Quiz (Sunday 6 September): Participants tested their knowledge through a live digital quiz on transparency, integrity and the contribution of digital transformation to the fight against corruption. At the end of the quiz, participants’ views on corruption and ways to address it were collected anonymously via the Mentimeter platform. Using their mobile phones, participants submitted their opinions and had the opportunity to view the aggregated results in real time.
